OUR STORY
For over twenty years, Tony worked alongside his father in their family contracting business as a project manager on high end residential renovations in NYC, ensuring operations at their custom cabinetry shop. Lianna’s background is in accounting and finance (opposites certainly do attract!) and she has over fifteen years of experience across multiple organizations in the NYC area. They decided to combine their skill set and pursue a passion based in creativity.
What’s in our Name?
Architecture. Elegance. Ornamentation.
In the mid 18th century, French architecture and design shifted away from the more formal, grandiose and stern style of late Baroque architecture to a more intimate and lighter style of the Rococo period. Rococo design and architecture was characterized as a light-hearted form of art often featuring whites and pastel colors, gilding, and curvaceous lines. The style typically depicts a sense of youth and love and dominated the European art scene from 1730 to 1750.
Roqoco Designs speaks to that period of playful yet exquisitely
detailed architecture. We love to keep things as light as possible but are also determined to bring the highest quality to your space.
Roqoco Designs is owned and operated by husband and wife, Tony and Lianna. They live and work in Brooklyn where they were both born and raised and continue to raise two amazing kids.
Together, Tony and Lianna bring their clients Roqoco Designs, custom artistic furniture made in an inviting and positive space.
From design to execution
Everything is Done in House
Each Roqoco Designs product is designed and handmade by Tony at his family custom mill shop. We purchase the latest cutting-edge machinery from 3D printers to vinyl lasers so that each artistic idea can be innovatively executed with a durable, lasting base.
